The Name of the Wind

Right then, the first book I'm going to look at is "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. The first thing that I need to say about this book, is that it is, in short, amazing. When I say amazing, I don't just mean that the plot is really good, or that the characters just "spring to life", I mean that not only is it well-written, but unlike so many other books it makes you patient. Whilst many stories give you the details you want to know as soon as they know you want them, "The Name of the Wind" holds its secrets until one of them is relevent, so it will be spoken, and the others are left in the shadows, only to be brought up as you might have begun to forget them.
Never before have I read such a well-detailed, yet not over-the-top book, and I strongly reccomend that if you love a book from the fantasy genre, then this just has to be read.
